We held our annual awards party on Saturday 18 July with a “Christmas in July” theme. Huge thanks to Susie and her crew of volunteers for putting it all together, to our MCs Rod and Neil, and to President Lauren for a fantastic overview of the year. It was great to see so many Vikings and sponsors there, all in their Christmas gear!
Ross, Rod and David also received the awards they missed at the ACT Triathlon Awards, which made it extra special to present them in front of the club.

Narelle’s perfect winter
Narelle won all five races in her age category in the Sri Chinmoy winter trail series and set a new age-group course record in every one. Graeme finished third in his age group for the series. Narelle, Graeme, Adrian and Will also ran legs of the Sri Chinmoy Canberra Trail 100 in different teams.
650 sausages
Susie and her family organised a cracking BBQ at Tuggeranong Bunnings. Despite a long, wet Sunday, we sold a staggering 650 sausages. Thank you to every volunteer who helped raise funds for the club.
Registrations are open for the 2026 Mitchell’s Glass Novice Program, starting 10 October. See the Novice Program page for details.
