We had a fantastic contingent at the Port Macquarie 70.3 and Ironman festival this year. Kathy, Adam, Jono, Nye and Susan all took on the 70.3, whilst Fi and Rhys lined up for the full Ironman distance — Rhys’ first.
Conditions were characteristically wild — windy, wet and testing — but that only made the results more impressive.
Special mentions go to:
- Fi — 2nd in age group at the full Ironman distance, despite finishing with two flat tyres
- Adam — completed his first 70.3
- Rhys — crossed the finish line of his first Ironman. Welcome to the club, Rhys — you are now officially an IRONMAN!!
