Vikings shine at the 2026 ACT Triathlon Awards

Vikings have been part of the ACT triathlon scene for a long time, and we’ve always prided ourselves on being fun, welcoming and inclusive for people of all ages and abilities. At this year’s ACT Triathlon Awards on 20 June, we got to show it.

Our winners

  • Interclub award (points for racing and volunteering): Vikings Triathlon
  • Spirit of Triathlon: Lauren
  • Volunteer: Rod
  • Rad Leovic Award for Senior Contribution: Ross
  • Novice: Hayley
  • Coach: Luke
  • Athlete: Fi
  • Endurance: James
  • Five Years of Technical Official recognition: David
  • Age Group Awards: Michele, Luke, Andrew, Brian and Tom

We’re always seen racing, but perhaps more importantly, we’re always seen volunteering and giving back to the sport we love. Congratulations to all our winners and finalists, and to everyone nominated from other clubs.

Thank you to the ACT Triathlon board, Anurag and Corey for organising the events we race in and the awards themselves. Go Vikings!
