The Jackie Fairweather Memorial Triathlon on Sunday 7 December marked the end of the 2025 Mitchell’s Glass Novice Program. Our novices have really made their mark on the club, and we look forward to racing alongside them this season. As Rod said, you can now call yourselves “triathletes”!
Thank you to our sponsor Mitchell’s Glass for making the Novice Program possible, and to all the Vikings and families who stayed on afterwards at Black Mountain Peninsula for a stunning Christmas BBQ. It was a lovely, happy occasion.
Medals at Callala
Luke and Liz both won their age groups at the Callala Triathlon, with plenty of other great results. Peter was there as a Technical Official.
Peaks, passages and parkruns
Congratulations to everyone who ran Peaks and Passages around Isaacs Ridge and Mount Wanniassa, and to Meg on her 100th parkrun!
Christmas Day parkrun is at Lake Burley Griffin and New Year’s Day parkrun is at Point Hut, both at 8 am. Merry Christmas from all of us at Vikings Triathlon.
